Non-urgent advice: Booking an appointment
Appointments with your GP can be made during opening hours (8:00 am to 6:30 pm) by calling the surgery on 01730 267722. You can also book online if you are registered for Patient Access or the NHS App.
We encourage patients to book in advance as this means they are more likely to be able to book a day and time to suit you.
We will book you with your registered doctor unless your problem is clinically urgent for attention on the day. In this case you will be assessed by any available doctor.
Non-urgent advice: Cancel an Appointment
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible by calling 01730 267722 in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
Home Visits
If possible, please try to telephone reception before 11:00am if you require a home visit.
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. The GP will always call you before doing the home visit to assess your needs. If your GP is unavailable the request will be given to the duty doctor.
Please remember that on average it takes four times as long to see a patient at home as at the Surgery.
You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
